Join WestPhil's Accelerator Program!
With the support of a City of Parramatta Capacity Building Grant, in collaboration
with Western Sydney University, the Music Teachers' Association of NSW, River
City Voices and Gradus Software, we are excited to announce the launch of our
Accelerator Program starting in Term 4 of the 2024 academic year for primary
school-aged children!
Program Details

Weekly sessions focusing on vocal, instrumental ensemble, and compositional skills coached by top Australian performers and pedagogues on Saturday afternoons from 1:30pm during term times:

'Bach Stream' 1:30pm-3pm

'Bartók Stream' 2:30pm-4pm

Venue: Building EA, University of Western Sydney, Parramatta South Campus (map)

Engagement with world-famous performers via specialised WestPhil projects.

Possibility of subsidised lessons with current private instrumental teacher or with an assigned private teacher.

The possibility of receiving donated instruments.
Eligibility
For primary school students who already have experience learning an instrument and are musically literate. We value dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to advancing musical skills.
Commitment
The 2024 program has a single-term fee of $395.
Opportunity Scholarships
Opportunity Scholarships are available based on financial need to help cover the annual contribution costs of the Accelerator Program. Indicate your interest in financial assistance and scholarships on your audition application form, and a scholarship application form will be sent to you at the start of the audition period. Scholarships and their value will be announced in your offer email.
